We wore womens knee high stockings. It kept the chiggers out , and did wonders for my thighs. People I knew would put clear nail polish on the bites because it would cut off oxygen to the insects and kill them before the infection would set in. I'm not to sure if it works but somebody else might have a better solution.

I have 2 pairs of nylons in my camper just in case. Hey man we don't have chiggers in CO and if we do they are new, they are mainly a southern bug. If you do have chiggers you need to go to the doctor because you can't get them out on your own. But from what you said, ur scratching and they are big blisters, are they popping and pussing? I got poison ivy a while ago and it popped up while I was at football camp really terrible stuff, good luck man!

I dont know what hell they are! I just wana scratch my leg off it insane! Ill check out a doc in a few days if not better. I'm sure you already know this but itching it is the worst possible thing you can do whatever it is, by itching it you are spreading the infection and making it worse, go to the pharmacist at your local grocery store and ask about some itching cream like bendaryl cream that's your best bet C.

NEVER listen to a doctor when he tries to diagnose something as a bug bite. My leg. That's poison ivy or poison oak man. No need to go to the doc's. First get some Calamine lotion. That should help with the itching and it will dry it out. Also an oatmeal bath is an excellent treatment for poison ivy, because it will stop the itching while helping your skin. Take the oatmeal bath man it will give you hours of relief. Damm it didnt know CO had that crap around! Are you sure thats its posion oak?
